Base Salary
$54k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operationally manage custom web applications across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
- Help users configure, manage, and optimize custom APIs and datasets.
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues and optimize system performance.
- Work directly with technical users to provide support and guidance.
- Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and more experienced engineers on technical solutions.
- Travel from 0% to 100% may be required depending on business and client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum 12 years of work experience; an associate degree requires at least six years of work experience.
- At least three years of full-stack engineering experience, including at least one year with four or more of Linux systems administration, Python, Docker/Kubernetes, a modern JavaScript framework, or DevOps.
- At least two years of experience in a platform engineering or developer role.
- At least three months of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written communication, verbal communication, collaboration, and technical explanation skills.
- Preferred experience includes AI, LLM, HPC, data engineering, data science, Linux kernel-level operating systems, AWS services, full-stack development using cloud provider APIs, Terraform infrastructure, and Conda/Python environment management.
