Responsibilities
- Drive the architectural vision, API design, and implementation for native iOS applications and developer-facing iOS SDKs.
- Write modular, tested Swift code and develop public APIs and XCFrameworks for enterprise integration.
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices for testing, modularity, security, and software quality.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, backend engineering, and enterprise developer partners on scalable SDK and mobile experiences.
- Mentor engineers and lead complex technical initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Optimize build pipelines, continuous integration, testing automation, and release speed.
- Track Apple platform developments and adopt relevant iOS technologies.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise software environments.
- 5+ years building production native iOS applications and public or internal iOS SDKs backed by cloud APIs.
- 3+ years of deep hands-on Swift experience and working knowledge of Objective-C.
- Experience designing SDK APIs, modular architectures, and library distribution using technologies such as Swift Package Manager and CocoaPods.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading complex technical initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with XCFramework packaging, semantic versioning, SDK deprecation cycles, modern iOS frameworks, Swift Concurrency, memory management, OAuth, SSO, and data encryption at rest.
- Preferred: familiarity with Android development principles or cross-platform SDK design, plus open-source contributions or technical community participation.
