Base Salary
$175k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve low-latency trading problems and optimize performance-critical code.
- Collaborate with trading engineers, traders, quantitative researchers, hardware teams, and networking teams to improve system performance.
- Develop application software, optimize networks, tune platforms, and implement real-time trading solutions.
- Design, build, and enhance performance architecture and platform features for evolving trading strategies.
- Debug, profile, and optimize complex systems while identifying performance bottlenecks and system risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in modern C++.
- Experience with full-cycle software development in trading or other high-performance domains.
- Java experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of network programming, including raw sockets, latency tuning, and packet handling.
- Ability to debug, profile, and optimize complex systems in performance- and reliability-critical environments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
