Responsibilities
- Write high-quality application code from functional requirements while meeting implementation deadlines.
- Contribute to concept models, system architectures, component design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and test-case reviews to ensure requirements are met.
- Monitor development through analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation phases.
- Provide user, operational, and production support for applications.
- Recommend and develop security measures based on post-implementation analysis.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups on application issues and solutions.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, advisor, or coach to stakeholders and lower-level analysts.
- Help define operating standards and ensure required procedures are followed.
Requirements
- 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift, Linux builds, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of automated testing, agile development, and continuous integration.
- Desirable programming and infrastructure knowledge includes C/C++, F#, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Git.
- Desirable securities and custody knowledge, including SWIFT 15022/20022.
- Custody or financial services domain experience is desirable.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with Production Support and as part of a culturally diverse virtual team.
