Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable fulfillment services and APIs.
- Develop operational control systems for Amazon sites and external third-party fulfillment partners.
- Collaborate with Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define scalable technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the team’s engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
