Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and document secure integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Manage and support more than 150 Salesforce API connections using Connected Apps, service accounts, certificates, and approved customer processes.
- Define integration patterns, data flows, technical specifications, authentication approaches, and implementation plans with technical and business stakeholders.
- Support application onboarding and offboarding, including API dependency validation, authentication patterns, service account needs, sandbox readiness, and release impacts.
- Support major releases, minor releases, hotfixes, production changes, outages, and urgent production events across Integration, Stage, and Production environments.
- Review technical design documents covering API design, error handling, monitoring, authentication, data movement, rollback planning, and operational supportability.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support, incident response, root cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
- Maintain API and service account inventories, data flow diagrams, operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and Confluence knowledge articles.
- Evaluate opportunities for integration modernization, automation, monitoring, and resilience across the Salesforce platform.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must have a current Public Trust clearance or suitability determination or an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Candidates must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., perform all work in the U.S., and have lived in the U.S. for three full years of the last five years.
- At least 4 years of hands-on systems integration experience supporting enterprise applications.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting Salesforce integrations, Salesforce APIs, Connected Apps, service accounts, authentication, or Salesforce platform administration or development.
- Preferred experience includes REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, SAML, certificates, API security, integration monitoring, error handling, production systems, incident response, root cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Government Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, large multi-org Salesforce environments, or federal, public-sector, and regulated programs.
- Preferred experience includes MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Design Center, DataWeave, and MuleSoft or Salesforce integration certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce CLI, VS Code Salesforce Extensions, Salesforce Developer Console, GitLab, GitHub, GitHub Actions, scratch orgs, Salesforce Connect, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, External Services, Named Credentials, External Credentials, Data Loader, SFTP, ETL tools, and middleware platforms.
- Preferred experience includes ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, release-management portals, helpdesk or ticketing platforms, connected-app governance, certificate rotations, and integration runbooks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to explain integration risks and dependencies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
