Base Salary
$158k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Become the expert on the team's business and technical domains.
- Lead the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects.
- Collaborate with partners, product managers, designers, and engineers to solve challenging problems and improve technology.
- Implement step-wise technical migrations of existing services and applications.
- Own small to medium features or infrastructure projects from technical design through completion with little required guidance.
- Write stable, correct, modular, adaptable, and maintainable code while working independently across the codebase.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
- Experience working with a variety of technologies and proposing, experimenting with, and iterating on technical solutions.
- Experience making technical contributions and improving the quality, fault tolerance, scalability, and maintainability of software systems.
- Solid understanding of the practical application of computer science concepts.
- Ability to write stable, correct, and maintainable code with little oversight.
- Bonus: experience supporting libraries and writing in Python and Golang.
- Bonus: experience owning observability stack tooling such as Grafana, BigQuery, and Kubernetes.
- Bonus: experience with data and engineering tooling, including discovery libraries, data replication, data transfer tools, and authentication and authorization libraries.
Benefits
- Hybrid Los Angeles work schedule requiring three days in the office per week, with Thursdays required and the other two office days flexible.
- Base pay is $158,400-$207,900 per year.
