Responsibilities

  • Own the full technical sales lifecycle across a portfolio of concurrent enterprise deals, from discovery and demos through trial kickoff and close.
  • Run discovery, uncover business pain, and build technical narratives tied to executive-level outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact during prospect trials by managing health scores, identifying risks, and executing interventions.
  • Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy and determine how and when to position Nooks.
  • Translate trial and field patterns into actionable product roadmap feedback.
  • Improve the SE playbook by identifying process bottlenecks, building leverage-generating automation, and codifying best practices.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a quota-carrying or technical sales role such as Account Executive, Solutions Engineer, or a hybrid role, with ownership of the pre-sales cycle.
  • Sales-first approach with experience treating trials as pipeline and focusing on win rates and urgency.
  • Ability to lead rooms of senior stakeholders, including CROs, CTOs, and VPs of Sales, and conduct business reviews independently.
  • Technical curiosity and the ability to understand how systems connect and independently close knowledge gaps.
  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to develop a point of view before prescribing a solution.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, taking action, and improving undocumented or broken processes.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or an equivalent enterprise sales methodology is preferred.
