Responsibilities
- Lead post-silicon firmware releases for Arm datacenter SoC software projects, including release planning, readiness, quality, and delivery.
- Own defect management, including triage, prioritization, release-blocker visibility, and delivery-risk management.
- Coordinate development-environment requirements such as development boards, system configurations, debug equipment, and lab capacity.
- Align priorities and dependencies across engineering teams and locations, resolve issues, and improve firmware delivery effectiveness.
Requirements
- Strong experience in firmware or low-level system software and delivering production-quality software for complex systems.
- Experience leading software releases, defect management, or system integration across multiple engineering teams in the SoC domain.
- Good understanding of post-silicon firmware development, software integration, validation, release processes, and hardware development and debug environments.
- Strong technical judgment, problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Preferred: knowledge of server-class SoCs and production firmware for infrastructure platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with Arm-based systems, Trusted Firmware-A, UEFI EDK II, SCP/MCP firmware, Linux, or OpenBMC.
- Preferred: experience with release automation, software configuration management, defect tracking, or hardware debug environments.
