Full-Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own features and systems end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and architectural guidance.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, influence product decisions, and balance technical tradeoffs.
- Design and implement backend systems, APIs, algorithms, services, database schemas, and complex SQL queries.
- Develop and extend PHP codebases and contribute to frontend functionality using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, React, and related frameworks.
- Build responsive experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
- Profile, debug, and optimize new and legacy systems while ensuring reliability, performance, and data integrity.
- Contribute to continuous deployment, Agile engineering practices, tooling, workflows, code reviews, and engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Web Engineer, Full Stack Software Engineer, or in an occupation involving customer-facing PHP in e-commerce.
- Experience with algorithm design and optimization, data structures, MVC design patterns, object-oriented programming, code complexity analysis, and software architecture best practices.
- Experience with PHP/Laravel backend development, React frontend development, MySQL database design, Eloquent/ORM, API development, and Linux server deployment using LAMP/LEMP stacks.
- Experience developing and maintaining e-commerce web applications with secure transactions, data protection, and intuitive user interfaces.
- Experience designing relational database schemas and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience using Git in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile software development and Jira products, including sprint planning, retrospectives, continuous improvement, code reviews, and team velocity improvements.
