Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive performance and non-functional testing strategies, standards, and best practices.
- Design, develop, and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and performance tests using k6.
- Build and maintain reusable performance testing frameworks and scripts.
- Analyze system behavior, test results, and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to diagnose performance issues and validate fixes.
- Test cloud-native architectures deployed in AWS across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and monitor performance KPIs, SLAs, and non-functional requirements.
- Produce performance test reports with actionable recommendations.
- Support capacity planning and performance tuning initiatives and advocate for performance testing best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Performance Tester.
- Strong experience in performance and non-functional testing.
- Strong experience with k6 and JavaScript-based scripting.
- Experience testing C#/.NET applications.
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and JSON.
- Ability to analyze CPU, memory, latency, throughput, and error-rate metrics.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
- Understanding of financial services or stockbroking platforms is beneficial but not essential.
