Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, manage, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows.
- Administer GitHub and Azure DevOps organizations, including repositories, teams, permissions, branching strategies, workflow automation, and code review processes.
- Manage CI/CD platform infrastructure, including pipeline templates, service connections, organization-level controls, build agents, and runners.
- Develop and modify code or scripts for automation, pipeline tooling, integrations, and operational tasks.
- Use Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling to automate and support cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot build failures, deployment failures, environment configuration issues, authentication and permissions problems, and pipeline reliability issues.
- Enforce DevOps governance, security scanning, least-privilege access, secrets handling, auditability, dependency management, and controlled deployment processes.
- Work with developers, platform teams, cloud engineers, architects, security teams, and other stakeholders to improve delivery speed, reliability, consistency, and maintainability.
- Support observability through logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
- Deploy and configure repositories and projects with standardized governance, branch policies, templates, approvals, and workflows.
Requirements
- GitHub experience is required.
- Strong hands-on experience in a DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or CI/CD engineering role.
- Practical experience designing, maintaining, managing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience administering GitHub and/or Azure DevOps organizations, including project and repository setup, team configuration, permissions, branching strategies, workflow automation, and code reviews.
- General software development experience with the ability to read and write code or scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts including compute, networking, identity, storage, secrets management, monitoring, and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling, including modifying and troubleshooting configurations and modules.
- Experience troubleshooting build, deployment, environment configuration, authentication, permissions, and pipeline reliability issues.
- Familiarity with source control, package management, artifact repositories, release management, environment promotion, and deployment approval workflows.
- Understanding of secure DevOps practices, least-privilege access, secrets handling, auditability, dependency management, and controlled deployments.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft AI Foundry, AI agents, Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts, Azure environments, service connections, and release workflows.
- Preferred experience integrating GitHub with Azure services, Azure DevOps, enterprise identity, and security controls.
- Preferred experience with observability tools, PowerShell, Bash, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Preferred experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments, enterprise change management, compliance requirements, production release controls, and build agent or runner infrastructure.
