Base Salary
$180k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, review, and ship software daily as part of an 8–10 person engineering team.
- Collaborate on technical direction and build the foundations of a scalable identity security product.
- Partner with internal and external customers to gather feedback and iterate on the product.
- Set engineering standards and practices that can scale with team growth.
- Hire and develop engineers as the team and product expand.
- Guide a small team through ambiguity and the process of finding product-market fit.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- A track record of shipping products in fast-moving environments.
- Ability to read, write, and review code at a high level, with Python or Go preferred.
- Experience hiring and developing engineers.
- Bay Area location is required, with 25% in-office presence.
- Preferred: experience building enterprise or B2B security products.
- Preferred: familiarity with machine learning systems or ML-adjacent infrastructure.
- Preferred: exposure to AWS, Kafka, containerized services, and microservices.
