Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advance the capabilities of Kubernetes and auxiliary components on Azure.
- Improve quality of service for Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Accelerate development velocity for engineers.
- Deliver continuous improvements to team processes and the codebase.
- Build automation to prevent or remediate service problems before they become production incidents.
- Integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building, shipping, and operating reliable distributed solutions.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or another AI agent in design and implementation workflows.
- Experience with Golang and Linux.
- Ability to engage in site-reliability engineering practices.
