Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise full-stack applications.
- Build Java and Spring Boot microservices and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
- Develop real-time data processing and data pipelines using Kafka, Databricks, and PySpark.
- Build agentic AI solutions using AWS or Azure and promote AI-assisted development tools.
- Deliver Market Risk technology solutions for banking, capital markets, and financial services clients.
- Design resilient cloud-native systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP, with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tooling.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, clients, and business stakeholders on requirements and solution design.
- Ensure coding, security, performance, scalability, and delivery best practices.
- Mentor and manage developers, lead technical discussions, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Participate in client discussions and lead end-to-end delivery across the development team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Java full-stack engineering.
- Strong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, plus full-stack programming capabilities.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, Databricks or PySpark, and agentic AI using AWS or Azure.
- Experience with relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL; MongoDB and Cassandra are preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native services, and DevOps tools.
- Exposure to Angular or React and modern JavaScript frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot, Replit, or equivalent.
- Experience with scalable system design, performance optimization, and distributed systems.
- Banking, financial services, capital markets, market risk technology, or financial products experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, team management, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Client-facing experience and the ability to influence stakeholders are required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
