Responsibilities

  • Analyze and triage performance issues in C++, OpenMP, and SYCL applications and benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and validation teams across geographies to support product quality and performance.
  • Investigate compiler defects, prepare reproductions, and track bug submissions.
  • Contribute to compiler middle-end and back-end development, including scalar optimization, loop optimization, and vectorization.
  • Conduct functional and performance experiments, including stress testing, and identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Engage with open-source compiler communities and contribute to industry-wide solutions.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on C/C++ coding, object-oriented programming, and data structures experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows command-line environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a history of proactively pursuing solutions.
  • Preferred: familiarity with compiler middle-end/back-end development, linkers, or assemblers.
  • Preferred: knowledge of code optimization techniques for efficient hardware performance.
  • Preferred: experience with OpenMP, CUDA, or SYCL.
  • Preferred: ability to analyze runtime behavior and improve performance for heterogeneous computing architectures.
