Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production backend services for money movement.
- Own and deliver end-to-end features and contribute to larger domain projects.
- Contribute to technical design and implementation using established architectural patterns and best practices.
- Improve service reliability and quality through testing, monitoring, and delivery pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
- Apply backend and systems thinking during refinement, identifying risks, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, engineers, and other stakeholders on transfer and banking capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience building backend services in a modern environment and supporting them in production.
- Proficiency in Go and willingness to learn and work with other languages.
- Comfort with cloud-based systems, containerized workloads, and automated delivery pipelines.
- Ability to create well-scoped pull requests, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality and test coverage.
- Understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with banking, payments, financial systems, regulated environments, production traffic, or incident response is considered a plus.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools is considered a plus.
