Responsibilities
- Experiment with and build products that accelerate developer productivity and flow.
- Enable developers to build and deploy applications on GCP, OpenShift, and GKE.
- Improve and scale internal developer platforms, tooling, automation, testing, monitoring, and development practices.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions for code acceleration and technical debt reduction using LLMs, Agentic AI, and RAG.
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps principles and practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, code reviews, and advocacy for development teams.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, security teams, and tools teams across global regions.
- Present technical insights, communicate complex concepts, and represent development-team needs to other departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 6 years of software development experience focused on Java, Angular, and Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
- Proven experience driving adoption of developer tools and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with VS Code, IntelliJ, Git, Gradle, Tekton, Terraform, OpenShift or Kubernetes, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Cycode, SAST, and FOSSA.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, preferably including GCP implementations.
- Experience with developer enablement, DevSecOps, API design and development, microservices architecture, mentoring, and coaching junior developers.
- Knowledge of LLMs, Agentic AI, and Retrieval Augmented Generation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, independent-work, and teamwork skills.
- Mainframe, COBOL, customs regulations, trade compliance, and Free Trade Agreement requirements are nice to have.
- Knowledge of software architecture patterns, Test-Driven Development, and databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
