Responsibilities
- Design and deliver software solutions across backend services and user-facing applications.
- Use Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, algorithms, data structures, and architectural best practices.
- Resolve technical issues, ensure product goals are met, and define solutions for end users.
- Mentor, coach, and support junior engineers.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, third-party vendors, and customers throughout product development.
- Align technical strategy with team objectives, deliverables, and broader business strategy.
- Communicate processes and results to product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Twelve or more years of experience listed under the basic qualifications.
- The posting also lists 6–8 years of experience for the role.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in React and related frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, scripting languages, infrastructure as code, and release engineering.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, communication, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and proficiency in defining and fulfilling end-user solution requirements.
