Responsibilities
- Install, configure, service, and support Elekta MOSAIQ application integrations with third-party EMR systems.
- Complete MOSAIQ software component installations, SQL database updates, and interface migrations for upgrades and new installations.
- Collaborate with integration programmers to develop and troubleshoot HL7, XML, API, and FHIR interfaces.
- Create functional design, workflow, maintenance, support, troubleshooting, hardware configuration, and device inventory documentation.
- Provide product training to service and support teams.
- Develop use cases and execute test plans for new integrations and changes to existing functionality.
- Track project milestones, escalate issues to project management, follow documented processes, and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience working with electronic health record data and performing HL7 v2 and C-CDA message interfaces.
- Complete fluency with HL7 2.x file formats, including ADT and clinical messages, and a thorough understanding of interface development projects.
- Detailed knowledge of healthcare code systems including ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED CT, and LOINC.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write detailed interface specifications for technical and management audiences.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work effectively with data providers, systems administrators, and software developers within hospitals, cancer centers, and third-party organizations.
- Proficiency with Windows workstations, Windows Server, SQL Server, Azure, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Salesforce is preferred.
- Ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend English.
