Responsibilities
- Build relationships with greenfield and new-logo startup clients in France in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Demonstrate Databricks and advise customers on architecture, design, implementation, and successful platform adoption.
- Author reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
- Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups and help build the regional Databricks community.
- Develop into a technical or industry specialist and scale field best practices.
Requirements
- Prior coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala and willingness to learn a foundational level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with big data analytics technologies, complex proofs of concept, and one or more public cloud platforms.
- Experience discovering use cases, scoping requirements, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with varying technical depth.
- Ability to engage customers in technical sales, communicate technical and value propositions, and develop customer relationships.
- Business proficiency in both French and English.
- Residence within commuting distance of the Paris region for a hybrid schedule.
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events, and training.
