Base Salary
$115k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and operate the AWS and Kubernetes platform, focusing on reliability, cost, and performance.
- Lead GitOps deployments, including sync policies and configuration management.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, automating promotion across environments.
- Manage incident response for the platform, including diagnosing failures and leading recovery efforts.
- Establish observability for analytics business consulting, including monitoring and alerting.
- Maintain security baselines, access controls, and secrets management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on platform engineering experience with a focus on automation and scalable systems.
- 3+ years of experience specifically with AWS and Kubernetes, including EKS.
- Expert-level knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and strong Bash scripting skills.
- Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps for managing workloads across environments.
- Proficiency in Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code tool.
- Fluency in AWS services such as Lambda, ALB, WAF, and VPC networking.
