Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications focused on scalable microservices.
- Contribute to architectural decisions using design patterns and engineering best practices.
- Develop REST APIs and backend services while ensuring performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Enhance and support CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.
- Drive process improvements, mentor peers, and provide technical ownership and leadership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java 17 or newer in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, REST API development, and backend services.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, object-oriented design, clean code principles, and SQL query optimization.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Understanding of secure coding principles and experience with security scanning tools.
- Familiarity with logging, metrics, monitoring, tracing, and production support practices.
- Exposure to front-end technologies is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ownership and leadership, including mentoring peers and driving technical decisions.
