Responsibilities
- Lead post-technical-win account strategies and execution plans for key Databricks use cases.
- Own technical delivery for agreed customer workloads, including onboarding, enablement, adoption, production launch, and healthy operations.
- Act as the first technical point of contact for production and operational issues and questions across complex customer organizations.
- Coordinate with internal specialists across shared services, education, onboarding, technical services, support, and expert escalation teams.
- Develop execution plans covering production use cases, user growth, product adoption, cloud cost management, tuning and optimization, and executive and operational governance.
- Partner with professional services on proposals and plans to accelerate production deployment.
- Collaborate with Databricks product and engineering teams on new-product innovation, private previews, and upgrade needs.
- Report customer usage, health, investment, risks, product adoption, and use-case progress KPIs to the Technical GM.
- Build relationships with customer decision-makers and develop executable plans and strategies with internal specialist teams.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience owning delivery of technical projects or programs in data and AI, including customer technical discussions and design decisions.
- Programming experience with Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Direct customer-facing experience in presales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
- Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
- Ability to connect business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
- Experience managing technical programs or projects, including account, stakeholder, and resource management responsibilities.
- Experience resolving complex and critical escalations with senior customer executives.
- Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex program or project delivery.
- Demonstrated achievement against targets such as quotas or goals.
