Base Salary
$226k - $272k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy learned behavior models using reinforcement learning and imitation learning.
- Own end-to-end model development for scoped problem areas.
- Write production-quality ML code for scalable training and evaluation workflows.
- Analyze model performance and iterate to improve robustness.
- Contribute to training pipelines and data workflows.
- Collaborate with teams to test and evaluate models across diverse environments.
- Support integration of models into simulation and validation frameworks.
- Contribute to model architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior engineers on implementation and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field with 6+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year of experience.
- Experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or sequence modeling.
- Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch.
- Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed compute environments.
- Solid understanding of ML architectures used in autonomy systems.
- Experience debugging model behavior and analyzing performance metrics.
- Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured ML solutions.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to integrate ML models.
