Responsibilities
- Architect and execute complex sovereign cloud offers covering business cases, OEM hardware integrations, hybrid LAN/WAN network topologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the lead technical advisor for strategic Japanese accounts on closed-network GenAI, air-gapped HA/DR, and non-standard networking requirements.
- Build relationships with customer technical leaders and local System Integrators to support delivery and operations.
- Collaborate with product engineering and hardware OEMs to convert customer feedback on network and hardware constraints into roadmap requirements.
- Author reusable architectural patterns, tutorials, and sample code for sovereign cloud and hybrid networking practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in cloud computing, enterprise infrastructure, distributed systems, or data center architectures.
- Experience with system design and one or more programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Fluent Japanese and English communication skills.
- Preferred: 8 years of customer-facing architecture experience with complex enterprise or government architectures and executive, government, or defense stakeholders.
- Preferred: 8 years of hybrid and sovereign cloud experience, including air-gapped environments, OEM hardware validation, server sizing, and connectivity scoping.
- Preferred: experience with LAN/WAN, VPNs, secure boundary gateways, and Japanese system integrators.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
