Base Salary
$170k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized microservices for a distributed multi-tenant system.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Write code primarily in Java using the Spring Boot framework.
- Own critical features and subsystems throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage operational aspects of the system to enhance usability and supportability.
- Ensure quality through early developer testing and performance testing.
- Collaborate with Product Management to refine customer requirements.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer problems through stakeholder interaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API/programming level.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot or Golang.
- Familiarity with REST API clients and containerized services.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Unix/Linux programming environments.
- Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible is a plus.
