Responsibilities
- Develop Ansible playbooks and roles to automate Windows/Linux operating system offerings and Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL database offerings.
- Develop services and tools using Ansible, Terraform, Azure Workbooks, and Microsoft Forms for self-service, automated reporting, collaboration, isolation, and auditability.
- Design end-to-end automation solutions for cloud marketplace services, Azure and AWS infrastructure foundations, cloud onboarding, tagging, and policies.
- Develop Azure CI/CD pipelines, branching standards, and coding standards.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain Terraform modules, PowerShell scripts, Terraform schemas, and ARM templates.
- Operationalize automation solutions and collaborate with enterprise IT, InfoSec, application, digital platform, sector application, managed service, and cloud provider teams.
- Modernize and automate infrastructure service provisioning to improve speed and supportability.
- Maintain a strong security posture in code and development and incorporate Open Policy Agent standards into infrastructure-as-code development.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of total development and automation experience using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and other DevOps technologies.
- Extensive experience writing Ansible playbooks, Terraform modules, and configuration files.
- At least 8 years of experience automating IT infrastructure across Windows and Linux compute, network, storage, and relational and non-relational databases.
- At least 8 years of experience automating cloud resources in Azure and AWS public clouds.
- At least 5 years of experience administering an Ansible infrastructure platform.
- At least 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps, including version control.
- Experience automating infrastructure in a Nutanix private cloud environment.
