Responsibilities
- Design and build full stack application solutions across the complete software lifecycle.
- Lead analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and ongoing operational support.
- Analyze technical and business problems and recommend practical performance and system solutions.
- Develop security measures and strengthen system design based on post-implementation reviews.
- Partner with clients and technology teams to resolve issues and deliver programming solutions.
- Define and maintain development standards and procedures.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts.
- Assess technical risk and support secure, reliable systems.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of applications development experience building full stack solutions.
- Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, ReactJS, JavaScript, middleware such as Solace or Kafka, and software delivery pipelines.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, multithreading, exception handling, collections, JDBC, and established design patterns.
- Experience building ReactJS components and integrating XML, JSON, services, and relational databases such as Oracle or Sybase on UNIX platforms.
- Experience with JUnit, TestNG, and AI coding assistants including GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, Code buddy, or Friday.AI.
- Foreign Exchange domain knowledge supporting trading-related application development is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment and learn new frameworks and technology stacks.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
- Experience building low-latency and highly available transactional applications is beneficial.
