Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and develop and maintain legacy COBOL code.
- Use AI-assisted tools to understand, refactor, and safely modify impacted components.
- Build and maintain unit and integration test suites and support acceptance-test planning and execution.
- Introduce AI-driven data validation, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced monitoring to improve security and performance.
- Document changes, manage version control, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Expertise in Micro Focus COBOL.
- Familiarity with PowerHouse 4GL and/or Eloquence by Marxmeier.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible and ToolChain and with Git version control.
- Background in the financial sector.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Fluency in English.
