Responsibilities
- Develop and extend offline and online game features.
- Implement feature logic, game flows, and user interface screens.
- Monitor and address feature performance and stability impacts.
- Collaborate with designers to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Support UI functionality across platforms, input types, and display sizes.
- Update technologies, tools, and frameworks for different platforms.
- Optimize features for different hardware.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers and report to a team lead.
Requirements
- Proficiency in software engineering principles and architectural design.
- Proficiency in testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing user interfaces across multiple platforms and display sizes.
- Experience with multithreaded applications.
- Knowledge of data-driven and object-oriented design.
- Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM.
- At least 3 years of C++ software development experience.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to prototype, accelerate execution, and automate workflows, with the ability to review and validate generated code.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience, is listed as a bonus.
- Experience with large-scale game engines, familiarity with scripting languages, and familiarity with applying AI to software development are bonuses.

- Hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite at the Burnaby, British Columbia studio and two days working from home.
- CAD $104,500–$142,800 compensation range in British Columbia, depending on location and qualifications.
- Three weeks of vacation per year to start in Canada.
