Responsibilities
- Design, define, and facilitate solution architectures that optimize processes, technology, data, and people.
- Define and maintain technical architecture, architecture artifacts, technical vision, and technology roadmaps.
- Establish infrastructure non-functional requirements and ensure adherence to architectural standards and principles.
- Resolve complex infrastructure and development issues through high-quality technical design.
- Lead application modernization and cloud migration initiatives across multiple teams and priorities.
- Collaborate with business leaders, sponsors, stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, delivery teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency through innovative solutions and emerging technologies.
- Guide cross-functional technology teams including business analysts, developers, and quality assurance professionals.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across geographies, business functions, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in IT, including at least 4 years leading application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical decisions across multiple teams and priorities.
- Expertise creating architecture artifacts such as diagrams and decision records.
- Experience in financial or insurance services or a similarly complex, regulated industry.
- Experience aligning architecture with business goals and IT strategy.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, .NET, AWS, Appian, Microsoft Power Platform, CP4BA, and ServiceNow.
- Proficiency with API, ETL, RPA, workflow automation, case management, business rules engines, and low-code technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Git, or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with architecture modeling languages and frameworks such as UML.
- Understanding of Business, Information/Data, Application, Technology, and Security architecture disciplines.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
