Responsibilities
- Translate Zuora billing models into actionable data requirements for the integration team.
- Lead business analysis covering custom billing rules, revenue recognition, and reporting.
- Guide finance and business stakeholders through migration from a legacy accounting system to Zuora.
- Interpret Zuora’s data model and billing logic to unblock the integration team without serving as the full platform administrator.
- Facilitate decisions, workshops, and trade-off discussions with finance stakeholders and the controller.
- Maintain stakeholder communication and technical context during the planned handover or coverage period.
Requirements
- Proven business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
- Strong subscription and billing expertise covering recurring revenue, invoicing, and the payment lifecycle.
- Data literacy sufficient to read pipeline logic and validate data flows and outputs.
- Prior ERP or accounting-system migration or transformation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced conversational English and executive-facing communication skills for collaboration with a US-based finance team.
- Ability to learn a new billing platform’s data model and business context independently.
- Preferred qualifications include Zuora familiarity across billing, revenue, and CPQ modules; GCP, BigQuery, Looker, and Data Studio awareness; familiarity with ADKAR or Kotter; and Zuora Certified Administrator or Revenue Analyst certification.
