Base Salary
$161k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Transform ambiguous problems into high-performing AI features and standalone tools.
- Build secure integration layers connecting autonomous agents to enterprise systems using protocols such as MCP.
- Develop memory architectures and vector stores using Pinecone and Pgvector while enforcing data retention and deletion policies.
- Implement identity propagation, OAuth On-Behalf-Of flows, and RBAC so agents operate within users’ permissions.
- Build data clean rooms and automated PII masking and redaction pipelines to protect sensitive data from external model providers.
- Ensure AI workflows comply with regulatory standards and internal data governance policies.
- Create continuous evaluation pipelines for hallucinations, prompt injections, data leakage, and performance regressions.
- Implement semantic caching and model-routing logic to reduce latency and inference costs.
- Create templates, SDKs, and libraries that enable safe prototyping while maintaining compliance and security controls.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of general software engineering experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in distributed systems, asynchronous patterns, API design, microservices, and databases.
- Deep fluency in Python or Go and the ability to work across languages and frameworks.
- Hands-on production experience deploying RAG and agentic workflows using LLM APIs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
- Systems thinking, engineering fundamentals, product instinct, and the ability to ship quickly.
