Goldman SachsResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement business logic, database interactions, and third-party service integrations while optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js and collaborate with UI/UX designers.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases and optimize query and database performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps on cloud deployment and write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Debug application issues and establish trusted partnerships with product heads and executive-level stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in Java, React JS, and HTML5.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, NoSQL and relational databases, distributed messaging, or transactional services.
- Experience integrating with RESTful web services.
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads and executive-level stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with microservice-based architecture, Kafka, MongoDB, Spring, and vert.x.
