Responsibilities
- Design and build business-focused full-stack applications.
- Contribute to the growth engine that scales apps and games to millions of users.
- Participate in business strategy discussions and deliver solutions to business teams.
- Define technical best practices and demonstrate high-quality software engineering.
- Develop team tooling and drive engineering improvement proposals.
- Own features end-to-end from architecture and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
- Build robust, decoupled services using event-driven systems with SQS and SNS.
- Support teammates’ professional growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Extensive experience delivering successful products for internal, B2B, or B2C users.
- Strong backend experience breaking down monoliths, building systems from scratch, developing rules-based engines, and integrating complex third-party systems.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
- Strong ownership, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and product mindset.
- Strong English communication skills; French is a plus.
- Vue.js or another modern frontend framework is preferred.
- Experience with CircleCI or similar CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Experience with Terraform, CDK, or Helm is preferred.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and Grafana is preferred.
