Base Salary
$86k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly reliable code for agent-based cybersecurity services and deploy it across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Create high-level designs, architecture specifications, and other technical documentation.
- Own end-to-end project delivery and drive technical execution.
- Improve code quality, performance, and system reliability.
- Mentor senior- and mid-level engineers on technical design and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, and DevOps teams on technical solutions.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of systems engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
- Deep knowledge of one or more system-level programming languages such as C++ or Rust.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
- Experience producing highly reliable software in an environment requiring engineering excellence.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and security data processing.
- Experience working on an agent team for a SaaS organization.
- Deep knowledge of operating-system internals, notably macOS.
- Background checks are required, and the role may require authorization to access technology controlled under U.S. export laws.
