Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI.
- Design, develop, and operationalize enterprise-grade cloud services using multiple services and platforms while ensuring high availability, scalability, robustness, and observability.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual by monitoring systems, responding to degradation and outages, alerting stakeholders, and initiating restoration actions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance through new technical knowledge, trends, solutions, and operational patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: 2+ years of software engineering practice, coding, data structures and algorithms, problem solving, debugging, and analytical experience.
- Preferred: experience building on Azure services and using data-driven approaches to debugging and performance optimization.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $102,100–$202,200 per year; location-specific ranges apply in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
