Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain database systems to support uptime, reliability, and system health.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes or escalations.
- Manage database alerts, errors, IT requests, and production tasks.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and system improvements.
- Design and improve stored procedures, tables, and views.
- Use Query Store and Azure SQL features to analyze and improve performance.
- Automate operational processes to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
- Design and deploy Azure-based solutions using Logic Apps, Functions, and automation workflows.
- Contribute to database architecture improvements and new environment design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with database technologies.
- Strong T-SQL skills and experience with stored procedures, tables, and views.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL DB.
- Experience with query performance tuning and database optimization.
- Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Automation.
- Experience with C# or VB.NET is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
