Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and clarify business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
- Develop sprint-wise test plans covering scope, timelines, and testing activities.
- Design and document test cases using test management tools such as TestRail, Xray, TestLink, or similar tools.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, UI, UAT, and backend testing.
- Conduct API testing with Postman and interpret Swagger/OpenAPI definitions to validate request and response behavior.
- Identify, document, track, retest, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Scrum or Kanban activities.
- Support release and deployment activities, including release notes and deployment verification.
- Prepare detailed test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Support stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing.
- Contribute to quality assurance process improvements and identify opportunities for automation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Graduation is required.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, SDLC/STLCS, and Agile sprint processes.
- Experience with functional, regression, smoke, UAT, and API testing.
- Experience with TestRail, Xray, TestLink, Zephyr, or similar test management tools.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI for API testing.
- Basic understanding of or collaboration experience with Cypress and Selenium.
- Basic knowledge of Git and Bitbucket version control.
- Knowledge of Grafana and Kibana for log monitoring and analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
- E-commerce domain knowledge is desirable.
