Responsibilities
- Build and extend the TypeScript backend for real-time mining operations data.
- Work across the stack, including backend services, AI/ML, and frontend development.
- Develop computer vision pipelines for safety monitoring and PPE detection.
- Integrate with industrial systems to optimize mine equipment in real time.
- Ship features end-to-end and deploy to production multiple times per day.
- Utilize LLMs for intelligent analysis and automation features.
- Own features in a small team and interact directly with users to understand their needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong coding skills and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency with agentic coding tools and AI-first development style.
- Comfort working across the stack, including backend and frontend tasks.
- Great judgment regarding security, testing, and code quality.
- Entrepreneurial work ethic and ability to own features end-to-end.
- Experience working on a remote team and handling multiple work streams.
- US citizen or permanent resident, based in the US.
