Responsibilities
- Develop and support platforms for the Equity value stream, including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Identify, fix, and test vulnerabilities across application code and libraries, using AI tools to accelerate remediation within defined SLAs.
- Perform application and system performance tuning and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Build object-oriented applications using design patterns and integrate in-house applications with vendor software platforms.
- Set up development environments and sandboxes, manage source-code changes, perform unit testing, and fix defects.
- Interface with databases to extract information and build reports.
- Interact effectively with customers, business users, and IT staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience, with the qualifications section requesting 7–10 years of IT experience in application development and support.
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE, and AI tools.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in advanced SQL/PL/SQL, advanced Python, or advanced Scala.
- Experience with either Spark and HDFS or AWS cloud services such as EC2, EMR, Lambda, S3, and Glue.
- Experience with at least one infrastructure or CI/CD area, including networking and Unix scripting, Ansible/Jenkins, or vulnerability remediation.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience with large datasets and equity, commodities, forex, futures and options, index or benchmark platforms, asset management, or trading platforms.
- Basic knowledge of user interface design and development using jQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
