Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in Mainframe Modernization and legacy system transformation.
- Design and implement software architectures in complex environments.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve software capabilities and performance.
- Tune and optimize modernized applications.
- Provide solutions to problems affecting multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Mentor and support junior team members and promote quality deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in Mainframe Modernization.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong expertise in legacy system analysis and transformation techniques.
- Experience with software architecture design and implementation in complex environments.
- Ability to apply agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Skills in application performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong influencing, advisory, collaboration, and technical decision-making abilities.
