Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy and system architecture for highly available microservices and data pipelines.
- Build, optimize, and maintain server-side applications using Java, Spring, reactive programming, APIs, and messaging systems.
- Architect and deploy workloads on AWS using Kubernetes and managed AWS services while optimizing cost and operational efficiency.
- Guide and mentor engineers across multiple teams and conduct code and architecture reviews.
- Ensure designs meet information security, PII protection, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and enforce observability, logging, and performance testing standards.
Requirements
- B.Tech, B.S., M.S., or MCA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable, distributed cloud systems.
- At least 2+ years leading engineering teams or complex plans.
- Hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Reactor-Core or WebFlux, AWS, EKS or Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS or Fargate, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Experience managing PII, high-frequency transactions, credit or financial data pipelines, or security-sensitive microservices.
- Experience integrating generative AI or LLMs through Amazon Bedrock or custom model pipelines.
- Exposure to multi-language backends, including Go or GoLang alongside Java.
- Knowledge of FinTech, identity fraud detection, real-time payment networks, or credit risk analytics.
