Base Salary
$170k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead large multifunctional software development activities.
- Solve complex technical problems, write complex code, and serve as a senior source of software development expertise.
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources.
- Provide design input across software products and make impactful system architecture decisions.
- Work directly with customers and end users to gather requirements.
- Design and implement large-scale distributed systems, cloud-native microservices, APIs, and highly available fault-tolerant systems.
- Build intelligent document-processing solutions that extract entities, index documents and metadata, and support legal research.
- Develop frontend search experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and React.
- Work with relational databases, ORM frameworks, and search-engine technologies to persist, retrieve, and index document data.
- Perform performance optimization, scalability improvements, reliability engineering, bug fixes, and technical issue resolution.
- Write and review detailed specifications for system components.
- Mentor lead software developers on consulting, development methodologies, and optimization techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Seven years of experience in the offered job or related occupations.
- Seven years of experience building cloud-native microservices using AWS, Java, and Spring Boot to process and analyze documents and integrate with machine-learning algorithms.
- Seven years of experience designing large-scale distributed systems, microservices architectures, robust APIs, and system-level optimizations.
- Seven years of experience using Kubernetes and Docker and designing highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
- Seven years of experience with end-to-end system design and architecture for intelligent document-processing solutions.
- Seven years of experience with frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and React.
- Seven years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Seven years of experience with Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch.
- Seven years of experience with Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Azure DevOps for deploying backend services, frontend applications, and database components.
- Experience may be concurrent.
