Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, resilient microservices for JioStar’s advertising technology stack.
- Own complex backend projects end to end, from technical design through deployment and monitoring.
- Write maintainable, high-quality code with rigorous testing and fault tolerance.
- Drive architectural decisions and influence the team’s long-term engineering strategy.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead operational excellence through performance tuning, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical deep dives and code reviews, and foster knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of storage systems, query performance, and caching strategies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, messaging systems such as Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage delivery timelines in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for developing engineers and leading by example.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in backend development.
