Responsibilities
- Propose innovative automation technologies and build business cases supporting technology adoption.
- Design and deliver technical architectures for automation technologies.
- Integrate diverse technologies, tools, and platforms to meet use-case requirements.
- Develop MVPs, proofs of concept, automation routines, and modular technical designs.
- Use programming and scripting languages to implement automation solutions.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with architects and distributed account, analyst, and customer teams to deploy automation workflows.
- Mentor and guide junior developers across global teams.
- Develop CMP-related procedures that interface with APIs for cloud and infrastructure manipulation.
- Ensure automation solutions meet technical design, performance, and development standards.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expert-level infrastructure services experience.
- Expert-level automation programming and scripting experience.
- Expert-level ITSM and ITIL process knowledge.
- Proven experience designing and deploying automation routines.
- Experience with ServiceNow Orchestrator, Ansible, Foreman, or similar automation tools.
- Configuration management and DevOps experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, mentorship, innovation, and project delivery skills.
