Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver robust, high-performance systems using Spring, REST, SQL, Hibernate, MyBatis, and MQ.
- Drive scalability and performance optimization for systems processing millions of transactions daily.
- Own critical components and perform Java performance tuning, debugging, and memory profiling.
- Develop distributed, multi-threaded server-side applications and distributed transaction solutions.
- Collaborate with business units, product management, and quality assurance teams.
- Mentor team members in development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Java, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, distributed messaging, and multi-threaded server-side development.
- Experience with Spring Framework, databases, SQL, PL/SQL, Hibernate/MyBatis, JDBC, JPA, and Oracle.
- Experience with unit testing tools including Spring Boot Test, Mockito, and JUnit.
- Experience with Java performance tuning, debugging, memory profiling, and distributed transactions using tools such as JTA, Atomikos, or Narayana.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Preferred experience with Ext JS, React, UI design, financial markets, futures and options, open-source contributions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
