Responsibilities
- Lead complex engineering activities supporting cloud, DevSecOps, enterprise software integration, and SOF modernization.
- Analyze multi-cloud architectures and advise on cloud platform selection, design, deployment patterns, performance, security, and mission requirements.
- Provide expert technical guidance on Kubernetes orchestration and cloud-native architectures.
- Apply RMF to cloud architectures, containerized workloads, and enterprise IT systems.
- Support Agile SAFe-aligned software development, including backlog refinement, PI planning, ceremonies, and cross-team coordination.
- Evaluate DoD software testing plans, scripts, results, and documentation for enterprise systems.
- Conduct technology scouting, market research, technical reviews, readiness assessments, and engineering decision forums.
- Identify engineering deficiencies, assess impacts, recommend corrective actions, and provide technical inputs for reports and leadership briefings.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to possess and maintain TS/SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of technical engineering experience, including at least 5 years of DoD experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud architecture, Kubernetes, enterprise DevSecOps, or similar technical areas.
- Experience with enterprise IT system integration and modernization, software integration, systems integration, mission systems engineering, and complex systems-of-systems environments.
- Experience applying RMF to cloud architectures, containerized workloads, and enterprise IT systems.
- SOF or Intelligence Community experience is preferred, as is a technical master's degree.
