Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop horizontally scalable, containerized, fault-tolerant services on Kubernetes.
- Improve system performance for low-latency and high-throughput use cases, including low-level stack optimization.
- Build scalable observability architectures for collecting, analyzing, and reporting platform-service metrics.
- Contribute to relevant open-source cloud-native projects.
- Collaborate with product management and backend teams across global locations to deliver products.
- Participate in technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, launch, code reviews, design reviews, documentation, and technology selection.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of experience developing maintainable, modular, resilient, fail-safe, and durable code in a product-development company.
- Require strong programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms knowledge.
- Require strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, Go, and Python.
- Require experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Require knowledge of datacenter design, distributed computing and storage architectures, operating-system internals, virtualization, application performance monitoring, compute, storage, and networking management.
- Require familiarity with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid software deployment architectures and high-performance system-software design and tuning.
- Machine learning concepts and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, hardware accelerators such as GPUs, large codebases or open-source contributions, and multi-tenant services on virtualized infrastructure are strong or solid pluses.
- Require a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
